Recipe Polenta salty pie of of 13-01-2018 [Updated on 09-03-2018]
The salty polenta pie is a very tasty idea for a different second course! By preparing a base of polenta, stuffed with mushrooms and bacon, the cake will be baked for just 15 minutes and brought to the table after having cooled it just a little. The filling can obviously follow your tastes, so let your imagination run wild: from the classic sausage and provola to the vegetarian flavor made with radicchio, stracchino and parmesan!
In my house this cake was also appreciated by my mom who usually does not prefer polenta-based dishes, but this time she made a small exception by promoting my recipe;)
A kiss to those who pass by here and have a good weekend: *
How to make polenta pie
Clean the mushrooms and slice them thinly.
Put the garlic in the pan with the oil and then also the mushrooms.
Let it cook for about 15 minutes and then add the pancetta, cooking for another 5 minutes and adding salt.
Meanwhile, bring the water to a boil, add the polenta flour and cook for 8 minutes, stirring.
Then add the salt, butter, salt and Parmesan and mix again.
Now transfer the polenta into a mold lined with parchment paper.
Stuffed first with mushrooms and bacon and then with slices of cheese, leaving some space in the edges.
Then cook at 180 ° C for 15 minutes.
Let your polenta pie cool and serve.
