Recipe Stuffed sweet potatoes of 20-04-2016 [Updated on 27-08-2018]
The recipe for these Baked Sweet Potatoes it's simple but particular, if served at a dinner with friends, I'm sure you will make a great impression, I included it in one of my "strange" menus and I had the approval of all palates;)
Stuffed sweet potatoes are a variation of the baked potatoes I had already made in the past. The sweetish taste of American potatoes, goes well with the strong flavor of cheddar cheese and bacon creating a harmony of taste that I loved at the first taste. Well girls I leave you to the recipe and I throw myself in the kitchen, I have a lot of new recipes to experiment with and this morning I have very tight deadlines, so ... I fly! How to make stuffed sweet potatoes
Wash the potatoes by cleaning the peel from the soil, rubbing it with a brush under running water, then cut them in half.
Place them on a baking tray and season with salt, pepper and a drizzle of oil, and bake them at 200 ° C (convection oven), cooking them for about 15-20 minutes in a preheated oven.
Cut the cheddar and bacon into cubes
With a spoon or a digger, and being careful not to burn yourself, empty the potatoes leaving the skin intact.
Season the pulp with salt, pepper, butter, chives and mash well with the tines of a fork
Then add 3/4 of the bacon and cheddar and mix.
Fill the American potatoes with the filling, then add the remaining bacon and cheese and a little chives.
Return the sweet potatoes to the oven for another 15 minutes, then remove from the oven and serve.
