There chocolate custard is great for fill and decorate cakes and small pastries, but it is also really delicious as a spoon dessert, perhaps served in a cup accompanied by some biscuits and a few tufts of whipped cream. The other afternoon, in full nostalgia for the times when I was a child and my mother prepared me the classic pastry cream for a quick and easy snack, I decided to try my hand at something different and prepare the chocolate custard to pamper my husband. This is the recipe, happy Saturday to those who come here :)
How to make chocolate custard
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar in a bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Then add the sifted starch and continue to mix until a homogeneous mixture is created.
Now add the milk and incorporate it into the egg mixture.
Transfer the mixture to a thick-bottomed pan and cook over very low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
Turn off the heat and add the chopped chocolate.
Stir vigorously until the chocolate has melted
Transfer the chocolate custard into the bowls, garnish with cat's tongues and serve
