Pan-fried biscuits recipe of 22-11-2014 [Updated on 08-01-2015]
Pan-fried biscuits are one of those things I've always wanted to try, but then between one thing and another, I've always put off doing. The other afternoon I made these orange flavored egg-free biscuits and I decided to try cooking in the pan, in a few minutes I got some fabulous cookies! If you too have the ritual of biscuits prepared on Saturday afternoon, try this recipe and let me know what you think, for me today another weekend of fire between dust and boxes but I don't give up. I wish you a sweet weekend and see you later; *
How to make cookies in a pan
In a large bowl, arrange the flour and cornstarch with the yeast, sugar, butter cut into chunks, peel and orange juice in the center.
Knead until you get a homogeneous mixture, then put the dough in the fridge for about 15 minutes.
Spread out on a floured surface and with a biscuit cutter make round or flower-shaped biscuits.
Heat a high-sided non-stick pan then place the biscuits and cover with a lid, then cook for 4 minutes.
With the help of a spatula, turn the biscuits and cook them for 3-4 minutes on the other side as well.
Lift the cooked biscuits into a pan, let cool, then sprinkle with icing sugar and serve.
